L2Ork Tweeter International Ensemble in collaboration with the Virginia Tech L2Ork are pleased to announce upcoming end of semester performance in the Creativity and Innovation District Living Learning Community on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 at 6pm Eastern Time. Stay tuned for a livestream link!

In addition, it is a great pleasure to announce the latest release of Pd-L2Ork (version 20250501), L2Ork Tweeter (version 0.86), and the WebPdL2Ork. For additional info please see links below:

Latest Pd-L2Ork release offers critical bug-fixes, L2Ork Tweeter version 0.86 (now with up to 14 concurrent parts), new window list feature, improved string handling (see sprintf), and many more. If you already have your preferences saved from a previous version of Pd-L2Ork, don’t forget to enable save zoom option in the Preferences > GUI. It is now enabled by default and already used by the latest version of L2Ork Tweeter.

Interstellar premiere

A couple weeks ago L2Ork International Ensemble premiered a new work commissioned by the City of Alexandria (VA) Office of the Arts. The ensuing work seeks inspiration from StudoKCA’s Interstellar Influencer (Make an Impact) installation that was on display for the past year at the Alexandria’s Waterfront Park. Featuring performers over 5,000 miles apart, the work tells a story of the asteroid whose impact shaped the Chesapeake Bay 35 million years ago. The premiere once again engages Virginia Tech’s visual artist Thomas Tucker who assisted with the projection mapping element. Check out the video of the event below.
